Wednesday, April 27 at 8:00 in Stuart 105: Election Day (for 5 positions, no need to fill out an application)

Now --> Friday, April 29 (11:59 PM): Fill out and send an application to me for the other 6 positions

Monday, May 2 --> Friday, May 6: Interviews for applicants

Again, please read the attached document (MSA Shura Elections 2011), after which you may start emailing me nominations (for President, MVP, FVP, Treasurer, and Secretary). The application is also attached in case you are interested in the other 6 positions (both Publicity Chairs, Social Chair, Community Service Chair, Outreach Coordinator, and Webmaster).

Thanks,
Khalid Khayr

Rohina Malik's Unveiled

Salam!

The one-woman, critically acclaimed play, Unveiled, will be in Hutch THIS Wednesday, January 26th! Join us for Rohina Malik's moving performance, and stay for some delicious Middle Eastern food!

Check out what critics have said about her show:

"Rohina Malik, the hugely talented writer-actress at the center of the Victory Gardens solo show "Unveiled," is a remarkable new theatrical voice in Chicago. In her rich, upbeat and very enjoyable 70-minute collection of five character studies of Muslim women in modern-day America, Malik gives voice to characters from whom we hear far too little in the theater." Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune

A "terrific show... intellectually engrossing work of theater" -- Nina Metz, Chicago Tribune

"Unveiled offers a provocative, insightful and uplifting theater experience." Tom Witom, Pioneer Press

And lastly, please feel free to invite all of your friends, UChicago people, or non-UC people, those on facebook and those that aren't on facebook, it's an event open to the public and promises not to disappoint.

Hope to see you there! =)
